Shaman skis

Postby mbonk » Sat Nov 05, 2016 4:57 pm

Does anyone have any experience with Shaman skis? (especially interested in the longer, stiffer models)

They are now available in the MogulSkiing.Net shop and probably easier to get.
I am eyeballing them for over a year but could not make up my mind.
I heard very positive feedback from competitive bump skiers, but a bit scary to trust their judgment.
Any thoughts?

Welcome to the forum mbonk!

Shaman provided a pair of their skis for everyone to demo at this past season's Bumpapalooza. I'll let the people who tried them offer their opinions but in general they were very well liked.

I skied them in March at Bumpapalooza at Mary Jane. I felt they were stiffer than the Twisters (I skied them in the 178 length) After a run or two I found the sweet spot and really enjoyed them. They appeared quick edge to edge. And the big thing was that I didn't bend them.
