Aka Heffe-ritas. I am a margarita and wine connoisseur. For this post, I will bestow upon you my home margarita recipe. Its nothing fancy or gourmet, just simple ingredients but the result is smooth and powerful. I recommend 2 glasses a day as soon as you get home from work:

6 parts Jose Cuervo Gold tequila
2 parts Bols Triple Sec
1 part Grand Marnier
7 parts Joes Cuervo Maragarita mix

Mix together and pour over a high ball glass with rocks (no salt).

Enjoy. :)

Nice Jeff, thanks for the recipe. Next time you make one, try adding two or three parts beer :o

Might sound weird to you but I've found that splash of beer is the difference between a really good Marg and a rockin' one.

Interesting... What type of beer works best?

Something light (not lite!) and with at least average carbonation. Corona would work fine and stay with the south of the border idea. I'll most often use Rolling Rock as it's what I have around fairly consistantly.

Just a splash will do you. Not looking for a beer flavored Marg! Just enough to lighten up the flavor and texture.

Cheers :D
