Sound bites from a recent trade show.

As always, his passion for the sport of skiing comes through loud and clear, found his remark about bringing technique back rather interesting.

I found it kind of dumb. It takes plenty of technique and skill to do what young'uns do today, it's just different from Plake's technique/skill.

I'm personally getting tired of people talking about what's wrong with skiing and the industry. I can't control what the industry does; I can only control what I do, and I'm still having fun skiing. If I weren't, I'd probably move south and take up golf (and then bitch about that).

I’m sure Plake purposely says things in the way he does for shock value – I can’t wait for the Down Home Tour to make it to my local hill – I’ll be stoked :P
