But credit where credit is due... these guys are at least trying to keep mogul skiing alive in an area it might otherwise fade even further. Let's be as helpful as possible. It sounds like Tom (head of the program) is open to suggestions. So suggest... don't humiliate! Anyone trying to keep the sport alive, and who at least is open minded about it, is ok in my book.

I think that Tom's point about skiing out of your comfort zone is a good one.
If mogul skiing helps your racing skills would the opposite be true that racing helps your bump skiing?

To get children skiing moguls faster, one coach gets them to ski the in-run faster (slowing but not stopping at the top of the course).

this mogul skier races and doesn’t fall on a mogul
